Annette Funicello is an American actress and singer. Most famously, she was one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". In her teens Annette began singing and she became famous for the songs 'Tall Paul as well as Pineapple Princess'. Annette was an introverted child that grew up in Utica in the company of Italian immigrants. Annette was determined to pursue the profession of entertainer. She began to dance as well as acting. Around the middle of 1950, she played in numerous Disney sketches in the role of one of the "Mouseketeers" and gained considerable fame. Annette was able to let go of her 'Disney" persona she cultivated as a young person and embark various adult characters.
