Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, an American basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college before she was drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. Her high school experience included 73 games and 1,477 points in her career and 739 career rebounds. Ogunbowale participated in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. The 7th of July, 2014 was the day that Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season.
