Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed performances of naive and charming characters. Adams was one of seven children who lived as a young child in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked in the U.S. Military in Italy. Then, in the latter part of 1990s, she began professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to the regional theater located in Minnesota which was where she got her first role in a documentary mock-up about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her screen debut was a huge success where she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocating to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. Janet Leigh married Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. She's the mother of Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and began her film career in the late 1940s. She starred as Norma in various popular films over time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
