Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the fourth season episode. She wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone performed the role of her ex-wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller during the first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends to pursue a role that required more time. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) and The War at Home from 2005-2007. Then, in 2000 Barone also co-starred in The sitcom Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005, for her character as One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular in the Disney Channel show Shake It Up began in 2010, about three years following The War at Home finished its run. Barone played the role of Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Barone's husband actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone.
